Electricity from the desert – From vision to reality
The topic of renewable and alternative sources of energy is currently hotly debated by both the media and energy companies. The second event in the series “Role Models from Business, Politics and Society”, by and with Kerstin Tschuck and held at the premises of Munich Press Club, inspired passionate debate on the topic of electricity in the desert. Our thanks go to Karim Asali, Director Reference Projects at Desertec Industrial Initiative GmbH (Dii GmbH), who answered questions from Ms Tschuck and the guests and provided interesting insights into this extremely complex topic and its prospects for the future (www.dii-eumena.com/de/).
